We offer state-of-the-art technologies for wind turbines including our innovative drivetrain architecture. It comprises a medium-speed Brushless Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (Brushless DFIG) coupled to a one or two stage gearbox. The frequency converter has only a fractional rating, typically one third of that of the generator. This drivetrain is believed to be the most reliable and cost-effective design as compared to conventional architectures widely used in the wind industry.
We also offer complete wind turbine designs based on conventional or our innovative drivetrain technologies. We work in partnership with world's leading wind turbine design companies to provide turbine designs which match our clients' constraints such as cost, supply chain, transportation, etc.
We are flexible with our clients’ commercial requirements, and can offer technology licensing, technology acquisition, or if preferred, we can supply products directly from our specialist manufacturing partners.
