Projects
We offer a turn-key solution for the development of wind power projects including advanced wind resource assessment, wind farm engineering design, procurement of wind turbine equipment, construction and civils, commissioning and test run, and ongoing operation and service.
We perform wind resource assessment, site modelling and classification, and micrositing for wind power projects, as well as the engineering design including site layout design, internal electrical network and substation design, and foundation and civil design. We utilise state of the art design tools and software packages along with our extensive in-house experience in wind farm design and operation.
The services we offer during the procurement stage include selection of suppliers of wind turbines and 'balance of the plant (BOT)' equipment, technical and commercial advisory on contractual negotiations, and strict quality control and inspection of component suppliers. Our aim is to procure top quality wind turbines which matches your site conditions and financial restrictions.
We provide construction management and supervision during the construction phase of your wind power project. The construction may be performed by utilising local contractors in order to minimise costs. It mainly involves site preparation and civil works, on and off shore transportation of equipment, erection and installation of wind turbines, grid connection and commissioning.
We offer inclusive operation and service packages for wind farms and provide required trainings to establish local operation and maintenance team at your wind farm site. Our engineering team will continuously monitor your wind farm operation through the SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) and CMS (condition monitoring system) interfaces and optimise the farm's energy yield as well as perform preventive maintenance routines.
We provide support in establishing local manufacturing of wind turbine components and the transfer of wind turbine design technologies. It is often desirable to manufacture large and heavy components of wind turbines, such as towers and blades, locally to reduce transportation burdens. We also provide support in obtaining international certifications for design, manufacturing and assembly of wind turbine equipment.
I
f your wind farm is intended to be developed in a developing country, then we provide support in registering your wind project with the United Nations for Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), so carbon credits can be claimed during the lifetime of the project. The CDM is designed to make renewable projects become financially feasible in the developing countries, hence reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
