Wind Technologies is appointed Project Consultant for the development of a 100 MW wind farm in Khaf, Iran. Initial feasibility studies have been done by the developer and a planning permission is in place. Wind Technologies will provide support throughout the project from engineering design and procurement of equipment and services through to the construction and commissioning phase. "We are delighted to undertake our first project in the Middle East where a substantial growth is expected in the next few years. There are huge opportunities in this market and we are determined to maintain a strong presence", said Ehsan Abdi, CEO of Wind Technologies.
